Due to Vicroads "Child Restraints and Booster Seat" rules that only apply to selected industries for cars and buses up to 12 seats,(13 seat or more buses inc school buses and taxis are excempt), all children under 4 years of age are required to be seated in a legally approved child restraint.
All our courtesy buses are fitted with forward facing child restraints. If you have very young children we recommend that you drop your partner with any children less than 12 months old at the Airport Terminal first, then park your car with us.
We cannot supply a rearward facing child restraint as our buses have no provisions for this, thus we cannot transport children between 0 and 12 months old under any circumstance
We do have booster seats for children between 4 and 7 years of age that can be used in conjunction with a standard lap/sash seatbelts. If you are travelling with your own booster seat you are welcome to use it.
All of our buses have now been fitted with two (2) forward facing child restraints for children between 1 and 4 years of age using an Australian approved anchorage bar.
It is the responsibility of the adult travelling with the child to ensure the seat is suitable for their child and all seat belts are adjusted correctly.
Discount Airport Parking accepts no responsibility for passengers that provide false information regarding the age of their children
Sorry for any inconvience that these rules may cause but it is  out of our control.
